Human Heart, You Yearn for God

Human heart, you yearn for what God alone can provide. Why seek you for it elsewhere? Do you not know that the things of this world cannot satisfy the longings of your spirit? Can creation be fulfilled by any other than its creator?

God calls you to himself, that you may be whole in him. He offers you life, of which you will never thirst again. His gift is freely given, to be freely received; he will never compel, but ever longs to be united with you. Will you turn your will toward him, him who is deserving of all your love? Will you love him, love love himself?

Thus you will find your perfection, your place in creation. Thus may you praise him with all the angels, and God may be all in all.
